Coursera Game Design 3D FPS assignment.

Controls:

  • WASD : movement
  • Mouse movement : direction
  • Mouse left click : fire
  • Mouse wheel / numbers : weapon select


I have made multiple modifications to the tutorial project:

  • Created three completely new and coherent levels, each with its own mission and specifics:
    • Level 1 requires to find and activate several transmitters
    • Level 2 is a night level which requires to navigate a low lit scene
    • Level 3 is intense fight with enemy spawners and the boss
  • Created Objectives page and updates which track progress in the game
  • Added new graphical and lighting items to improve game aethetics
  • Modified player movement to make it move and fall realistically from steep slopes
  • Created controllable door button and switches scripts using free 3D assets
  • Created a Goals Tracking logic which requires set of goals to be achieved for the user to progress to next stage
